Choctaw Regional Transportation and Maintenance Program
CRT (Choctaw Transit)
CRT provides non-emergency medical transportation to area health centers, employment routes to local businesses, and transportation services for students traveling to local community colleges and Mississippi State University–Meridian.
Under a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the City of Meridian in 2015, CRT also operates a limited demand response service for Meridian citizens within the city limits.
With steady and ongoing growth in Choctaw economic development throughout the service area, Choctaw Transit continues working to meet the growing public transportation needs of the community.
Choctaw Transit currently serves the counties of Kemper, Neshoba, Leake, Newton, and Winston, and also provides services in Lauderdale County.
Community Regional Maintenance Facility
CRMF
The Choctaw Regional Maintenance Facility opened in January 2014 and provides maintenance and repair services for the Choctaw Transit fleet, Tribal vehicles, rural public transit systems in the surrounding area, and agencies located in the EZTAG (East Central Transit Action Group) area.
CRMF does not provide maintenance or repair services for personal vehicles.
